Romantic Decorating Details for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s week is finally here and that means adding romantic decorating details in the home. When you think of romance, flowers and candles immediately come to mind.

Romantic Decorating DetailsI prefer pink and white for Valentine’s Day since we had plenty of red at Christmas.

Wrought Iron CandelabraLast summer I found this elegant, wrought iron candelabra at the local flea market.

Pink Tulips and an African Violet Tulips and an African violet add romantic decorating details next to the candelabra.

The romance of an African violetI wrapped the garden pot in a white cotton tea towel and tied it in place with baker’s twine.

Romantic Valentine's VignetteA few romantic decorating details turn everyday items into a sweet vignette.

Romantic decorating details for Valentine's DayMy collection of vintage aqua bottles is growing.

It’s less than a month until the first flea market of the year.

I should be able to find a few more aqua bottles there.

  2. I love your candelabra, just charming! And, the rustic hearts hanging on the bottles is fun! Mostly, I am intrigued at so many folks whom buy themselves flowers, I never do that and certainly think I need to start!!!

  3. Jennifer,
Everything looks so sweet and charming. Love all the pink and white. So soft and pretty. Have a great start to this Valentine’s week.

  4. Jennifer, your valentine touches are so natural and LOVELY!!! The iron candelabra captured my heart from the get go. Love the single tulip stem in the vintage bottle!

Your place looks so sweet and romantic all year lol. Thought it a bit funny. Most are dreaming of spring. You are dreaming of Flea markets lol. Love the candelabra! What a find.

  6. Therese Haas says:

Jennifer, A bit off topic. About your bamboo rug. I noticed yours lie nice and flat. Did you do anything extra to it? Mine are wavy. This is causing the edges to get damaged and splinter. Was thinking of staple gunning it down lol.

  7. So pretty and fun! Love your Valentine touches!

  8. Sweet valentine decorations.
