Start at Home Decor: Charming Home Tour

We’re having some pretty fabulous weather here in Illinois and I’ve spent a good deal of time out in the garden. I’ve enjoyed gardening since I can remember. I love being outside working with plants of any kind. But now it’s time to turn attention to the indoors as we take a tour of Brooke’s beautiful home over at Start at Home Decor blog.

Step inside Brooke’s front door and be greeted by gorgeous wood floors and warm hues. Brooke has a lot of interesting architectural and decor pieces in her home.

 

She transformed her living room into a beautiful, spacious office. I think this is a great idea. Not a lot of people spend time in their formal living rooms, so why not turn the space into something functional?

 

Those gorgeous wood floors continue into Brooke’s farmhouse style kitchen.

 

Brooke’s breakfast bar has 3 different stools, but she unifies them with the same coat of paint. I love this look!

 

An elegantly stunning chandelier takes center stage over the dining table … and there’s those amazing floors again!

 

Board and batten siding lines the far wall of Brooke’s family room with its comfy sectional sofa. Additional architectural elements can be found in the stately armoire and the shutters adorning the wall on the left.

 

Walls painted a warm neutral create cozy appeal in Brooke’s master bedroom with its cottage style bed.

 

A unique and stunning French style vanity creates beauty and elegance in the master bathroom.

 

In the girls bedroom, bunk beds are dressed with colorful bedding.

 

Since I’ve been spending time in the garden lately, I have to take a moment to admire all the amazing flowers in front of Brooke’s pretty home.
