9 Pink Bouquets for When You’re Feeling Blue
I don’t know about you, but I love having flowers around when I’m feeling blue. I fill my yard with them every summer and during the colder months, I try to enjoy fresh arrangements from the store as much as possible. I’ve gathered together some pretty pink bouquets to cheer and inspire you to make your own arrangements.
Pink flowers are always feminine and pretty. Use them in both formal and informal arrangements. I love this pink bouquet of ranunculus in a blue flower pot. Look at all the layered petals!
Do you have peonies in your garden? Gather them up for gorgeous bouquets. They’d be the perfect cut flower if they didn’t always have ants in them. My peonies are just starting to spring from the ground – I have yellow ones to match my house.
A large gathering of tea roses take center stage in a bright yellow garden pot. How can you not smile when you gaze at this beautiful bouquet?
Petunias get potted up with white flowers for country style outdoor containers. It’s a little too soon to do any planting outside – but within a month our Illinois weather should be good and ready for the annuals.
I like low arrangements like this one to use as a centerpiece on the table. My pet peeve is when you can’t see the person across from you due to a tall centerpiece.
Peonies lend themselves perfect to a shabby chic style arrangement, don’t you think?
Remember cornflowers? These pink and purple beauties lend a touch of whimsy. I need to remember to plant some of these in my cutting garden this year.
I spied bunches of pink tulips in the grocery store yesterday, but didn’t buy any. I’m trying to be budget-minded during our current pandemic. Besides, my Virginia bluebells will soon be blooming and they make such pretty bouquets. I have tons of them in the yard – they keep spreading all over and I don’t mind one bit.
Daffodils are blooming here right now and I’ll bring a few indoors to enjoy. Sunny yellow bouquets are just as pretty as pink ones!
