Today I’m honored to share an older home in the city that belongs to Angela of Number Fifty Three.

Angela and I have a few things in common. We love older homes. We love thrifting.

And we’re both monthly contributors at Jennifer Rizzo’s blog! But enough of our common interests …

Let’s explore Angela’s charming vintage home, which I know you’re gonna love!

Angela’s dining room is a collection of everything I love.

Dark woods unite the furniture pieces while an oil portrait creates classic appeal.

Note how Angela matched the blue of the table under the chalkboard with the blue candles on the hutch.

Mismatched chairs look like a pair due to their white paint.

 

A wonderful collection of thrifted mirrors decorates one of the dining room walls.

You can never have too many vintage mirrors!

 

In the living room, Angela has a collection of vintage pieces.

Her decorating philosophy is that your home can look beautiful without spending a fortune.

 

On the other side of the living room is a pretty painted brick fireplace.

Vintage plates on the wall and old books on the fireplace provide budget-friendly decor.

She has the most beautiful wood floors in her home.

 

In Angela’s kitchen, parquet floors are paired with black and white painted cabinets.

An arched window in the bathroom adds architectural charm.

A charming fixture in Angela’s home is Figaro, aka “Figgy.”
