Charming Home Tour ~ Unexpected Elegance
This is the last Sunday in September and I can’t believe how quickly this year is coming to a close! I also can’t believe I’ve been featuring my Charming Home Series for 6 months now. Seems like it started just yesterday. Today’s tour is a fun one (aren’t they all?) as I’m featuring Angela from Unexpected Elegance.
Angela’s living room has all the right touches to it.
Tufted furniture, a painted mantel, baskets, and pretty plants.
All the makings of an elegant country style home.
In the entryway, a large wall clock takes center stage and hints at the style in the rest of the home.
Angela added a unique element by painting the left wall a deep teal.
The dining room wears an understated elegance with pretty chairs and unique dining table.
Angela has a knack for pairing different textures within a room.
Here, wood sidles up to metal finishes all atop a tile floor.
You’ll find loads of elegant details in Angela’s charming home, including her kitchen.
Details like the patterned backsplash keep the decor interesting and unique.
Another cozy dining spot, the breakfast nook has a charming chandelier and rustic cafe sign.
Dark walls in the master bedroom create a pretty, cozy atmosphere for napping and sleeping.
You’ll find cottage style throughout Angela’s master bathroom.
Unique drawer pulls and an elegant mirror create loads of charm.
The charming girls’ bedroom is soft and pink with vintage iron headboards.
I would’ve enjoyed a bedroom like this when I was a little girl.
Finally, Angela has included a comfy outdoor living space.
An elegant chandelier mixes with more rustic elements on the back deck providing an eclectic look.

I so love it. In fact that first picture with the painted shelf’s are a great inspiration! It has finally pushed me into buy some Ann Sloane paint to cover two mis-matched book shelf’s that have been bothering me. I think I have enough pieces to justify the cost. But I do not what everything the same color. Do you have any experience in tinting the chalk paint with another paint? Or covering a laminate piece?
Jennifer, thank you so much for the sweet feature!!! 🙂
Good pick Jennifer. Angela’s home is so cute. I love her little girls room. Have a wonderful week end.
