Today I have such a fun and cute house to share with you! Touring this charming home will put a smile on your face and you’ll soon understand why Krista calls her blog, The Happy Housie. The cheerful colors in each cottage style room will leave you feeling light-hearted and happy as you enjoy each room. Ready to begin? I know I am!

As soon as you cross the threshold into Krista’s charming home, you’re greeted with color and whimsy. Note her attention to detail like the stripes on the chair that echo the colorful stripes in the rug.

 

Krista’s light and airy living room has a fantastic window letting in ample light!

 

Krista plays up the light in the room with pretty artwork and pillows.

 

In the dining room, dark chairs are paired with white providing interest.

The shuttered doors against the wall are a fun and unexpected touch.

 

Like the rest of this charming home, the kitchen is filled with light.

A few touches of blue accent the white cabinets.

 

Perhaps one of the reasons this home is so cheery and happy is its lakeside view on the deck!

Back inside, even the laundry room makes you smile!
