Cozy Master Bedroom Ideas

bedroom decorating ideas May 30, 2020

A good night’s sleep is so important to health and well-being, especially during stressful times like this current pandemic. I’m a firm believer that it’s easier to sleep in a pretty bedroom – so here’s a few cozy master bedroom ideas to help you dream up ways to freshen your own sleeping space.

Below, a beautiful country style bedroom is tastefully decorated in shiplap walls and warm wood floors. A fun pom-pom bedspread graces the bed with a cozy yellow throw and floral patterned pillows. I love this look.

A blue and white bedroom enjoys a fresh pop of coral in the form of pillows. The room enjoys a modern farmhouse vibe.

Plenty of texture takes center stage in this vaulted ceiling bedroom. A mix of stone and plaster on the walls pairs nicely with the natural wood beams. Patterned rugs underfoot lend pattern and color to this cozy master bedroom.

Shabby chic fans will love this mostly white bedroom. A flower trellis gets tucked behind the head of the bed while a country bench flanks the food of the bed. An all-white color scheme makes you feel like you’re sleeping in the clouds.

A simplistic master bedroom boasts farmhouse appeal, complete with a loft ladder reminiscent of what you might see in a barn.

The cathedral ceiling in this stylish bedroom feels cozy despite its height due to the wood treatment.

Create a charming look in the bedroom with a unique wall treatment. Barn doors are painted a vivid and unexpected teal. A large knit throw adds instant texture and warmth.

Here’s a cheerful bedroom for those you who love color! This bedroom says “Americana” with its fun use of red and blue.

And finally, a more traditional style bedroom to curl up in for a peaceful night’s sleep.

For those of you still battling snow, I hope your spring sunshine soon warms your heart and your outdoor spaces. In the meantime, you can always make your bedroom feel a bit cozier with a new blanket or decorative pillows.

These are all gorgeous inspirations! I love them all but I’m drawn to the last one by Simply Home Decorating. We are expecting snow this weekend. xo

I love the first one for coziness, but my style leans to the black and white bedroom – with the exception of the window valances, which completely overwhelm everything. Smaller would be better. Regardless, some very nice and varied looks.

Oh no, the first bedroom (photo by Phoebe Howard) by far is the coziest!

I loved something out of each one. And could totally live in that shabby chic bedroom for sure but I have to consider the Mister too. Oh well, I pick my battles. Lovely post!

I love all of those rooms. Perhaps the wooden cathedral cling room the best.

All of the bedrooms are so nicely done & cozy. I have a very large bedroom (400 sq feet ) and I am having a hard time getting it cozy. I will take all the inspiration from all those bedrooms ! Thanks !!

I love the first one, too! Brightens up a room. I do not care for the pictures above bed though. It’s just a matter of individual taste. Otherwise lovely in so many ways. Thanks for sharing all the incredible ideas for bedding and making a bedroom sooo comfy!

Each and everyone is a treat for the eyes and I can see they would make a cozy and restful room. I couldn’t pick a favorite, but I did pick a décor idea from each one! Thanks for sharing! Stay safe, everyone!

I love your blog. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that you put a date on your posts. There are TONS of blogs that omit the date so they can re- hash their posts over and over!! There is a popular group that posts weekly together and they are all re-hashed posts! I just unsubscribed to several I have followed for years. I appreciate your new content and your dedication to the job of blogging.
