Hampshire County Home with Vintage Finds
Today we’re traveling across the pond to visit a warm and cozy Hampshire County home in England. The house has historic appeal and is filled with pretty vintage charm and clever vignettes.
One of the things I find so appealing about old European homes is their fireplace. This one is decorated simply with a few vintage pieces. Did you notice the sign that says, “Did I just roll my eyes out loud?”
The charming kitchen has a door and widow leading to a cheerful sun room. I like the use of dark paint in the kitchen – it works well with the abundance of natural light.
Two different back splashes are used in this cottage style kitchen. Counter tops are populated with vintage kitchen items that are both functional and charming.
The sun room off the kitchen creates the perfect locale for plant growing and potting.
The dining room echoes the same color scheme as the kitchen and enjoys an eclectic style. Vintage luggage used as end tables partner well with the more contemporary dining chairs.
Another vintage vignette sits atop a charming gray dresser on one side of the dining room. So much love and attention is given to every detail.
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore this wall space with wooden spoons and framed artwork. It has me wanting to do something similar in my own kitchen.
The bedrooms are equally as charming as the rest of the Hampshire County home. Of course, I love the plant shelf above the bed!
What child wouldn’t love this bedroom? Is this a little fantasy land or what? So cute – and now I want to get a teepee for my grandsons’ room!
Seriously, these kids’ bedrooms are the envy of every child. Love the tent bed!
And finally, one of the bathrooms. The patterned tile adds character along with the wooden ladder and wire basket for holding toiletries and towels.

A lot to see in this home’s decor. Makes for interesting photos, but way too much dusting/cleaning upkeep for me. Thanks for posting, though. I enjoy looking at decor that I wouldn’t necessarily incorporate into my own home. It’s all good.
So much vintage fun in this house even the door knobs were so cute. I think i might want a tent in my room, they are so cute. This was very enjoyable, truly one of the best in awhile. Thanks, i want to look again!!!
Great content, it all looks so organic/urban in someway, great work with the bathroom!.
Love the fireplace. Would love to have one like that! Little too much in the dining room but then why not have things you love around to see!! Thanks so much!!
