Gorgeous wood-planked walls and floors create the foundation for beautifully decorated interiors. The dining room enjoys a circular, faux candle chandelier and receives plenty of natural light through the glass doors leading outside. A modern landscape painting adds a fun pop of color.

Wood paneling continues into the living room with its rustic stone fireplace. Furnishings are kept to a minimum allowing you to enjoy the home’s great bones.

Green walls pair with a white vaulted, beamed ceiling for instant appeal in the master bedroom. A tufted headboard and plush bedding creates cozy comfort.

A second bedroom features twin beds with white-washed ceiling and wall planks. Plantation shutters at the window provide privacy when needed.

A navy, geometric-patterned comforter hugs another tufted bed. It’s so nice to see the wood planks on the walls and ceiling. No artwork is needed when the walls have character all their own.

  1. I guess I’m a purest, in thinking a home should be decorated with elements of the the type of home it is. There is nothing in this home to suggest that it is a log home or that it is on a lake. It could be any home in a suburban development.

  2. I would love to spend all summer and maybe some Fall at a place like this. I can see myself sitting in one of those chairs and watching the sun go down.
