Modern Country Ranch Style Home in Montana
We’re traveling to Bozeman, Montana today to tour a modern country ranch style home. The house was expanded and renovated by StoneHorse Design, Inc. The interior feels cottage cozy while the exterior has vertical wood siding paired with white horizontal siding. The result is quite appealing.
Step inside to clean, fresh, and uncluttered interiors with a light-toned hardwood floor.
The light and bright kitchen creates a cheery space for meal preparations. Unique elements include built-in shelves and cubbies for wine bottles. Gold hardware lends a touch of class.
A high-top table pairs with cross back bar stools to create a cozy dining nook.
A cozy corner enjoys a tufted blue wing chair with a pretty plaid blanket. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book and listen to the birds outside.
One of the bedrooms in today’s modern country ranch has a fun loft with ladder access.
I love the simple, uncluttered look of the rooms in this house. The town of Bozeman, Montana was listed as one of the best places to live. In fact, Bozeman has been on a lot of top 10 lists. I’ve never been there – have you?
The bathroom is fresh, simple, and pretty. Shiplap adds textures to the wall next to the convenient walk-in shower. The hardware matches what’s seen in the kitchen, except here in the bathroom it’s silver.
Double French doors lead to an outdoor multi-level deck where the views can be enjoyed to their fullest.

The bedroom with the loft is my favorite place in his home, along with, as usual, the seasonal outdoor space. I always must have outdoor space to make me go “wow.”
I’m not a fan of this home although I did like the outdoor space. I found it too cold and impersonal for my tastes.
Nice. Thanks. Not exactly my taste either, but it has a Scandinavian vibe which is well done. Love the window moldings and that crisp bathroom.
I liked the home it matched the wide open space of Montana, but with warmth. Thanks for this tour.
I live here in Bozeman. Moved here 14years ago. It has changed from a teeny town, to crowded. The population has exploded! But there’s trade offs when you love mountain living. I’m going to find this house. It won’t be difficult. It’s pretty.
