An Amazing Traditional Home in Spain with Inviting, Sunlit Interiors

Let’s travel to sunny Spain today and tour a traditional home by Natalia Zubizarreta Interiors styled with color and practical living in mind. Plenty of windows allow natural light to flow inside. If I didn’t tell you this home was located in Spain, you’d probably never know.

I love exploring homes in various countries to see how other people live. This traditional home in Spain looks like it could be located anywhere in the United States. Soft linen slipcovers create an ambiance of casual comfort while the large wooden armoire/cabinetry adds rich appeal.

The small dining room is located adjacent to the living room, creating an open concept floor plant. Modern seating provides a contrast against the dark wood dining hutch.

Pops of blue and yellow appear in the form of modern pottery and textiles.

The kitchen in this traditional home is cheerful and lively with its blue cabinets. The lack of upper cabinets creates the illusion of more space.

The breakfast nook maintains a little levity with its blue feather patterned wallpaper.

You’ll find toile wallpaper in the black and white bathroom. I love the table style vanity with its unique bowl sink.

The bedroom enjoys a dark blue headboard paired with a green and yellow lamp, with a view of the city outside the window.

A second bathroom sports a geometric style wallpaper with an expansive light gray vanity.

  1. Not caring for the two different colors of blue cabinets/island in the kitchen, but otherwise, very nice. I’m always amazed at large bathrooms since my two are so tiny. I can’t even imagine what it must be like …..
