Uplifting Harmony: An Attractive Blue And Green Family Room Oasis
Today’s beautiful blue and green family room by Winding Lane Interiors hails from Cincinnati, Ohio. The new addition to the family’s classic home needed to be kid-friendly, so fabrics and finishes were chosen for their durability, without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. The goal was to decorate the space in a color palette that allows the inside to blend into the outside since the room has numerous windows.

From this view, it’s easy to see that the designer achieved the blurring of the line between indoors and outdoors. The green ottoman and pillows reflect the flora seen through the expansive, mullioned windows.

Pillows were chosen in an array of patterns for the blue and green family room. The colors pop against the white background. A built-in window nook provides a cozy spot for reading or enjoying a cup of afternoon tea. Drawers were incorporated for easy storage.

The blue and green family room opens to the kitchen dressed in blue and white. The bar stools have a different yet similar pattern from the club chairs, adding to the cohesiveness of the two spaces.
