Smitten is exactly the word I would use to describe how I feel about today’s charming home tour. It has all the appeal of a farmhouse coupled with the style of Pottery Barn! You can easily tell that Diana from Our Vintage Home Love pours a lot of care into every room of her gorgeous home. I keep looking at her photos over and over …
From the moment you walk up the sidewalk, Diana’s circa 1905 home radiates warmth and appeal. You’ll find plenty of charming features inside that you would expect to see in an older home.
But before we head inside, I want you to check out Diana’s creative mason jar lighting fixture hanging over the table by her front porch swing! I would love to have a mason jar votive feature like this on my porch.
So clever!
Once inside, the first room you’ll see is Diana’s farmhouse living room. Soft neutrals create a pretty space. Hardwood floors add richness and help to ground the room. I love Diana’s choice of pillows.
The dining room is connected to the living room, creating an open airy feel. Diana’s farmhouse table is exactly the type I’m looking for in my kitchen … just a bit smaller though.
Diana’s gorgeous kitchen has the convenience of cabinets but also the old world charm of open shelving. An old farmhouse table serves as a kitchen island.
Even Diana’s laundry room has plenty of farmhouse style, with a menagerie of hats on the wall and over-sized glass jars that house laundry supplies. If my laundry room looked this good, I might actually enjoy laundry days!
The staircase is located in the cozy den packed with style. The chippy “farm” letters are the first thing to catch your eye when you step in this room. And then you notice the creative coffee table and beautiful furnishings.
Now you know I’m lovin’ that claw foot tub in the bathroom! I also love how Diana pairs warm woods with white and neutrals throughout her home.
Finally, the master bedroom has plenty of softness with its textured bedspread and tufted headboard. The vintage suitcases at the foot of the bed add charm while providing additional storage.

One of my favorites too. Is her site secure? I thought I read her accounts were hacked? She has not posted on her site since last fall, I believe. So sad. I absolutely love her home and style. It is just the right amount white and gray, mixed so well with natural elements and wood grain.
Debra, I never get any warning messages when I visit her site and my browser is set up to give me proper warnings so I don’t think there are any issues. I love her home too! Sometimes we bloggers find we need to take a break from blogging … sometimes to rejuvenate and refresh … and other times because life’s circumstances simply require it. 🙂 Blogging can be a lot of work, even though it’s fun!
