Expansive windows throughout the beachfront home allow you to take in the magnificent ocean views just steps away. Note how the ceiling mimics the pattern of the windows.

White board and batten and an arched window keep the stairway landing light and bright. The homeowner mixed and matched the pendant lighting.

What a wonderful place to live, it’s beautiful! I imagine the homeowners would never want to leave. Each room is gorgeous, so open and bright, I am especially fond of the kitchen and wish mine looked just like that!

That is my kind of place. I live in TX where the summers are so steamy and hot that rarely does a shower make you feel better. I can feel that cool breeze in those pictures. Not sure I’d ever come inside! SO beautiful.

Calm and soothing is what i feel after seeing this lovely home, even riding in a boat and seeing it at dusk would give you that feeling.

Yes, it is a beautiful home. For those who grew up in RI, it is hard to watch all the coastal real estate being snatched up by mostly out of state people. I wish RI hadn’t been “discovered.” Articles like this are beautiful, but turn RI into other people’s playgrounds.
No, I’m not jealous. I live in a coastal home. i get that the local businesses are being supported during the summer months. But years ago, nobody was interested in RI (other than Newport.) Guess I wish for the old days…

I can understand your pain. My hometown has also been “discovered” and is much larger than it used to be, but at least the city officials are controlling the growth in a good way.

I remember traveling to Rhode Island as a kid and seeing all the beautiful homes in Newport. I haven’t been back since but hope to travel to the east coast someday soon. It’s a beautiful area.

Please stop advertising RI real estate! We loved it when no one knew where we were!

Love the natural stone, all that millwork and the interesting angles in the ceiling of the stairwell.
