My daughter moved into her charming bungalow a few weeks ago and her boho chic dining room is ready for its first debut here on the blog. It still needs a few final touches but I thought I’d share “stage one.” An antique hutch is going on the far blank wall. It’s a piece…
Here we go again! A couple weeks ago we painted the family room a dark gray color, which of course led to a need for a new dining room color. Isn’t that the way it goes at home? One change in one room leads to another change in another room. Say hello to Benjamin Moore’s…

An innocent trip to HomeGoods changed the look of my dining room. I was shopping for a housewarming gift for my daughter, and walked away with an Antiques sign that ended up changing my dining room. A large wooden Antiques sign jumped out at me from the clearance aisle at HomeGoods. I realized the size…
Just when I thought we were close to being done decorating the dining room, things changed. I felt a strong whim to add board and batten to give the room a bit more architectural appeal. I was also tired of the shelf on this wall and wanted a different look. So hubby and I took…

After changing my dining room to a sitting room, projects around the house came to a sudden stand still. I caught a wicked viral infection that took forever to go away. The bug took its toll on me both physically and mentally and I’m finally feeling back to my old self. A couple weekends ago…

A couple weeks ago my hubby excitedly walked through the door and told me about a new thrift store just 10 minutes from our house. Yes, hubby likes scouring the thrift stores just as much as I do and he was anxious for me to see it. It’s a huge store and I found a…
