Amazing and Charming Oceanfront Home in New England
When I look for houses to feature, my eye is always drawn to architectural details first, followed by beautiful decor. This charming oceanfront home captures both elements to create a casual yet somewhat grand home.
Sunny yellow and white always lend a cottage vibe to an interior space. Ample windows in this sun room ensure that the oceanfront vistas can be enjoyed while sitting here.

The country style kitchen enjoys the same color scheme to enhance the amazing wide-plank wood floors.

The cozy breakfast nook also enjoys beautiful views with a bank of windows.

An antique dresser adorned with beautiful lamps greets you in the entryway of this oceanfront home.

So many details reveal themselves throughout each room of the house. A beautiful stone wall adds texture while a mermaid door handle lends a touch of whimsy.

Gorgeous, impressive windows embrace natural light while providing amazing interior architecture. These are the kind of details that I love to see!

More windows provide expansive views of the ocean which would never grow tiring no matter what time of year.

Pretty rattan twin beds with matching bedding grace a charming guest bedroom. A lone fish decorates the wall.

Speaking of unique details, how about this secret staircase behind a child’s bookcase? Any kid would love to have this in their room.

A bit of whimsy in the form of felted animal heads makes an appearance in a powder room with an elegant embossed mirror.

Outside, you’ll find more spaces to enjoy an oceanfront view!

I think I could be very happy in this house.
a darling little sail boat, it found a perfect home on the window ledge. I’ve always envied those that have a secret in their home like the stairs behind the bookcase. Or maybe a room with a passage way through a closet lol.
When can I move in?
That secret door reminds me of older homes and niches they have in them. All light and a view, that makes it a great house to get away to.
Love the floral lampshades on the ginger jar lamps…where did you get them?
How cute is that secret staircase? As always, thanks for posting these tours. I love every one!
This house seems so cheerful. Maybe because of all the light and the use of yellow throughout. I could definitely live here.
