How to Transform Your Entryway with a Stunning Patterned Floor
Usually when we think of updating our entryway, our minds turn toward a new paint color for the wall, perhaps a new piece of art, or a new table or bench to place just inside the front door. But have you ever considered adding a colorful, patterned floor in your entry to make a memorable…
Embrace the Latest Trends in Beautiful Outdoor Living Spaces
As we head into May, warm breezes are becoming more frequent as the days slowly grow longer. Some of you are probably starting to spruce up your outdoor living spaces. Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jennifer and I started my blog in 2011 as a way to motivate myself by chronicling improvements to my circa 1875 house. I figured if I was writing about what I was doing, I’d be more likely to tackle and actually finish home improvement projects.
I remarried on June 30, 2011 and my husband and I talked about buying a new home together. But we both love it here in our little town and decided to stay put. The town has more than tripled in size since living here, but I still consider it to be small compared to the other Chicago ‘burbs.
