Get ready to fall in love with an amazingly beautiful French country home by Fergus Garber Architects located in the San Francisco area of California. The exterior will capture your heart first, and then you’ll fall even harder when you see the gorgeous yet comfortable interior spaces.
A custom arched, wooden door greets you at the entryway to the home with French style outdoor lighting to illuminate the path at night.

French gray shutters and a metal roof pair with a creamy exterior paint color to immediately invoke the sight of a classic home in the French countryside. Outdoor living areas take full advantage of the California weather.

Inside the French country style home, stone walls and wooden beams highlight the rustic style living room with a fireplace. You feel like you’ve been transported overseas into another world and culture. Large windows and doors take advantage of the California views.

The massive island takes center stage in the kitchen with a custom, marble countertop. The stove is nestled inside an alcove while open shelves store everyday items. Large tile flooring create a bit of a modern contrast against the rustic stone walls. This home could easily be located in the French countryside.

A second kitchen sink is located beneath the expansive windows that open in, instead of out. I like how the kitchen has more of an eclectic look than an appearance of everything being perfectly matched.

A French chair cozies up to a black desk in the home office with a custom window and small shelves built into the wall. The window seat is cloaked in French grain sack material with a row of pillows to add softness and comfort.

One of the bedrooms enjoys a four-poster bed and vaulted ceiling.

At the foot of the bed is a sitting area with large windows that overlook a patio and garden. Layered window treatments lend texture and warmth to the bedroom.

Look at the gorgeous details of the sink and faucet. You can’t have a French country home without a fresh bouquet of sweet roses.

Lights are suspended from the pergola for nighttime dining. What a perfect place for entertaining friends and family with a good meal and refreshing wine.

Beautiful home.
So beautiful. One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing these pics.
French country style used to mean rich reds, mustard yellow, deep greens and blues. I miss it.
This home is stunning. As large as it is, the natural elements and decor add warmth and comfort. The master bath is to die for!! Even the dog is cute! 🥰 Hard to believe this in in California and not at a vineyard in the south of France. So beautiful!
What a beautiful home and the front door is amazing.
