French Country Style Tudor Home
Are you ready to tour a beautiful Tudor home all dressed up in French country style? I love the color and vintage charm seen throughout this welcoming home by Julia Chasman Design.
You can’t miss the gorgeous rafters in the living room’s vaulted ceiling above, not to mention the rich wood floors and fireplace mantel. Pair all that with a dark blue velvet sofa and cheery red and white rug and you’ve got perfection.
The dining room below has its own wood treatment on the ceiling with a beautiful woven rug underfoot. A French country style chandelier adorns the table and Windsor chairs are always a classic choice for any dining space.
The kitchen really caught my eye with its colorful porcelain back splash, marble counter top, and shaker style cabinets.
More pattern appears on the shades in the bay window and the upholstered banquette seat. Such a fun spot to enjoy morning coffee.
A solid wood desk in the home office takes a cozy location next to the brick fireplace with its white painted mantel.
A slight change in flooring occurs in the entryway with its beautiful wood staircase. Flat stones hold up to heavy traffic entering and leaving the home and blend beautifully with all the wood finishes.
Upstairs, a young girl’s bedroom enjoys a mix of patterns on the canopy bed.
A pretty bathroom enjoys a vintage French country style vanity. Farm patterned, light green and white adds a splash of color above the painted bead board.
Subway tile in the bath and shower features a built-in shelf with a couple of pretty tiles, repeated on the side of the tub.
