The staircase would be a nightmare for an elderly person or the disabled. Never understand why architects design steps this way – its as if they only think of aesthetics and not practicality. A tumble down those steps would be devasting.
Overall the house was nice but I honestly didn’t like the openness of the living room to the kitchen it looked like a bowling alley to me. It needed an island there or something to break it up. I agree with Debby about the front staircase it would be such a hazard not just to the disabled/elderly but anyone especially with no rails.
