Beautiful Yacht Inspired Coastal Home: Light and Airy
Summer is around the corner and I’m ready to enjoy the sun and water. This is my favorite time of year because everything is so alive. In a nod to summer, I’m featuring a yacht inspired coastal home by Lisa Tharp Design. You’re going to love all the nooks, crannies, and details of today’s home tour!
Step inside and it’s obvious that this home wears a gorgeous coastal style that’s sure to lift your spirits. A large painting of a boat makes a statement on the hallway wall. I prefer to use large pieces like this as opposed to a gallery wall. Maybe because it’s easier!
Yacht inspired bar stools cozy up to the island in the white coastal kitchen.
The beautiful light-filled dining room with its unique chandelier takes up residence at the far end of the kitchen.
Today’s yacht inspired coastal home has amazing views from every window – and every room!
A mini forest of trees provides plenty of shade just outside the cozy porch.
The vaulted white bedroom makes you feel as though you’re sleeping in the clouds. Planked walls and ceilings lend texture while full-length curtains add softness to the space.
I think this bathroom is my favorite room! I love the shower fixture, the wood floor, and the view of the private patio.
When functional pieces also serve as art, you can’t go wrong. The sink makes a statement not found in other homes.
The Nantucket style exterior further emphasizes the coastal vibe of this beautiful home with its restful spaces.

Gorgeous! Whole space looks so bright, fresh and airy. I love the yacht inspired details, they’re so unique and beautiful and bring the sea vibe to the house. And the private patio looks like a wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. Thank you for sharing this!
Sigh….. so beautiful and calm and clean. Now it’s back to cleaning the muddy footprints off my kitchen floor and the water drops from wet dog shakes off the front of my dishwasher and stove. Never able to catch them both in time. :>( Thanks for giving me an escape for a minute ….
