Discover a Charming Beach Cottage on Lake Huron
Today’s charming home tour takes place on Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada. A quaint beach cottage by Croma Design Inc. embraces summer lakeside living with great style inside and out.
Â
White board and batten detailing lines the bottom half of the sunny entryway. Rich wood floors beckon you to step further into the home to admire its refreshing beauty.
Â
Neutral tones fill the living room, pulling color from the stone fireplace into the rest of the room. A painted white wood ceiling keeps the beach cottage light and airy.
Â
White shaker cabinets with glass front cabinets create a charming cottage-style kitchen. Vintage drawer pulls and hardware create added charm.
Â
I love the dining room with back porch appeal. The wood floors and table add depth to the white room.
Â
Floor-to-ceiling board and batten hugs the white walls of the pretty master bedroom. A blue glass table lamp matches the color of the rug underfoot.
Â
The white master bedroom is equally pretty with its elegant double vanity.
Â
The guest bedroom features a painted poster bed with matching bedside tables and farmhouse style sconce lights.
Â
A row of hooks on the deck waits for damp towels returning from the lake. Cozy deck furniture encourages lazy summer conversations. I can’t think of a cuter summer home to enjoy long days on the lake.

Stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. I have been to Ontario many times. Cottage country up there is just breathtaking
What a beautiful and bright home! Now I want to paint all my walls white!

It makes me want to go to the lake now and spend a week, if it isn’t raining.
Really cute and inviting – and actually a lake cottage, not a semi-mansion that is called a cottage because it is near water. While the bathroom is pretty high end, the rest of the cottage is reasonably decorated. I especially love the porch-y feel of the dining space and the mismatch of the bedroom furniture. So charming …..
The cottage is so beautiful.
