Cabin Inspiration: Sweet Summertime
I’m in the mood for some homes with cabin inspiration! Apparently the month of May decided to stay in bed and April had to do double-duty. Too many cool rainy days! But now, June has arrived and we’ve got warmer sunny days which is putting me in total summer camp mode.

One of my favorite summer vacations was spent out west in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was a youth group trip and we stayed in cabins at the foot of a majestic mountain.

How about this glassy tree house for cabin inspiration? Wouldn’t it make an awesome location for a vacation?

I love this little stone cabin that looks like a hobbit lives here. Situated in the midst of pine trees, it has a magical fairy tale quality about it.

Even a tiny house can pack of punch of cabin inspiration. An oversized window helps the inside feel larger while making you feel like you’re right outside.

Here’s a large party cabin! Can’t you just picture hosting friends and families for a large indoor/outdoor gathering here? The large sliding barn doors make it possible.

When I was a kid, I went to the same camp every summer. Two rows of bunk beds were in each cabin and it was pretty rustic. I think it’s why I always associate summer with cabins, campfires, and being outdoors.

Cabins don’t always need to be made of rough hewn wood. This charmer even has its own name plaque.

I hope you enjoyed this collection of cabin inspiration. I’m ready to tie my hair up, get a little dirt under my fingernails, and start the summer party!
You had me at the front door! What a charming home!
I would love to have a cabin to spend some time in when summer came, way up in the mountains somewhere. These are some wonderful examples of peace and quite.
I could definitely do a tiny home as a vacation home. No fuss getting it ready or leaving it. Oh, I can dream of so many things.
What an amazing set! I could pack my bags and head to any of them tomorrow :-).
