Bronze and Neutral Christmas Tree

Christmas November 12, 2018

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! Today you can enjoy a round-up of eight beautiful Christmas trees from King of Christmas. After selecting a new flocked tree this year, I settled upon a bronze and neutral Christmas tree theme. (This post is sponsored by King of Christmas and contains affiliate links.)

I ordered the King Flock Slim Tree at 7.5 feet tall. The height leaves just enough room at the top of the tree for a big bow.

If you’re stopping by from Ashley’s blog at Cherished Bliss – welcome! You can see all 8 trees by following the links from one blog to the next.

This year I had every intention of going with a green and gold tree, but when I was shopping in Geneva, I spied a birch bark ribbon that I had to have and immediately changed my theme to a bronze and neutral Christmas tree. I knew the bark-look ribbon would look stunning on the flocked tree I ordered from King of Christmas. You might remember that last year my Christmas tree revolved around a vintage Santa ribbon.

When setting up a flocked Christmas tree, you typically get lots of flocking all over the floor and on yourself. But surprisingly, this new tree barely sheds at all! That convenience in and of itself is enough reason to invest in a King of Christmas tree. I’m just so elated that I don’t have to vacuum under the tree every day!

After I decided to change my theme to a bronze and neutral Christmas tree, I purchased several of these pine cone ornaments with an animal head. I think these are my favorite ornaments on the tree this year.  They come in a reindeer head and a bear head.

You can see how full the branches are on the tree, and that the flocking isn’t all clumped up in places. Evenly applied flocking looks more natural and signifies a higher quality tree, but the prices are reasonable.

Bronze and Neutral Ornaments for Christmas

I hung my paper mache ornaments from last year’s Christmas. These weren’t on the tree last year. Instead, I had them on display in a wooden box.

I’ve had three flocked trees in my life and this King Flock Slim tree from King of Christmas is my favorite. The quality of flocking is so much better than previous trees, and it doesn’t get all over. And believe me – with feline friends who like to bat at the bottom ornaments on the tree, it’s important that the flocking doesn’t fall all over.

I love my new bronze and neutral Christmas tree and can’t wait to show you the rest of my holiday home in just a couple weeks!

Next up on today’s Christmas tree tour is Janet from Shabbyfufu. Janet is also the host and organizer of today’s festive blog hop and she creates the most gorgeous Christmas trees!!  I was so honored when she asked me to participate this year.

Be sure to see all of the beautiful King of Christmas trees below.

Wow, you have your tree up already – impressive! I really like the pinecone ornaments with animal heads. I like the taller new flocked tree also. That photo of your three cats is so adorable!

Hi Tamara! I try to get the decorations up early so that I can sit back and relax during the month of December and hopefully not get too stressed out about the holidays! The kitties are actually behaving themselves fairly well when it comes to the three. Thank goodness!

      Hi Susan!

Yes, my kitties were happy they could help inspire the Christmas decor! When I saw that bark ribbon, I knew it would look pretty on a tree!

Ha ha! I was worried the youngest kittens might crawl up into the tree, but so far they’ve been pretty good!

Your tree is beautiful and so are your kitties. I also did the bronze/gold/rustic tree theme one year and still have all the decorations. I don’t have your birch bark ribbon, but you’ve made me want to do it again.

    Jennifer,
What a beautiful color combination! It is so rich and yet a bit on the natural side too! I love that your kitties even match your tree!

Your tree is just gorgeous! I would never think to do bronze and now that I’ve seen yours, that’s all I can think of!
