Shabbyfufu ~ Charming Home Tour

Gorgeousness. That’s the one word I would use to describe Janet’s home over at Shabbyfufu. And Romantic. Or Shabby Chic. Anyway, you get the idea. Step inside Janet’s Florida home and you’ll think Rachel Ashwell lives there. I love the use of soft fabrics and floral arrangements throughout this elegant yet comfortably charming home.

Where to begin?  Let’s start the tour with Janet’s white, shabby chic living room. I think white is the perfect color for a Florida home. Add in a few touches of blue and you have cool and elegant decor.

 

I love how Janet mixes up her rooms from season to season by changing out accessories and flowers.

 

Janet has multiple mantels in her home, and her gorgeous way of styling them helped motivate me to purchase my own mantel recently.

 

On Janet’s blog, she tells the story of what her home used to look like (think 70’s shag rug and foil wallpaper). Her kitchen transformation is just stunning. LOVE her counter tops!

 

Shabby chic-painted stools add convenient seating. I love the look of the vintage stools, as opposed to brand new store-bought stools.

 

Janet’s dining room is filled with French Country style, from the linen upholstered chairs to the magnificent chandelier.

 

A simple wood table lends just the right touch of farmhouse appeal.

 

Janet’s white bedroom exudes more softness with shabby chic appeal.

 

Even Janet’s master bathroom gets a stunning bouquet of flowers. I would love to have fresh bouquets in every room of the house.
