The Ultimate Lake House with Amazing Views
You’re in for a treat today! We’re touring a stunning lake house by Urban Rustic Living that enjoys the most amazing views out every window. The home appears to be suspended over the water, and garage doors are available for boats as opposed to cars!
Inside, the home is spacious yet cozy. The living room features a beautiful stone fireplace with expansive windows to drink in the full view of the lake.
The kitchen is decorated in soft neutral tones, careful not to take away from the beauty just outside the window. I love how careful consideration is given to the color scheme to enhance the feel of nature.
A large farmhouse table provides ample elbow room while dining. And if more seats are needed, another table is available just outside the double glass doors.
The lake house family room doesn’t need much adornment. The lake and tree line are enough to captivate the eye. I can imagine lounging in this space with coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise.
A beach style bedroom pays homage to the lake house location.
Natural woods provide warmth and texture in another bedroom with a fun piece of lake living art.
Gorgeous details accentuate the light gray and white bathroom with its free standing tub and unique light fixture.
Another fantastic view of the lake can be enjoyed from the screened in porch. Lucky is the person who owns this piece of property!
You can see much more of this ultimate lake house by Urban Rustic Living. You won’t be disappointed!

Wow. I love the simplicity and casualness of this home. To me, it would be like living on a houseboat – just one that stays in one spot permanently.
I can’t even imagine the technical and mechanical difficulties and costs of building this home right on top of the water with “garage door” access for boats, but obviously the owners had the financial ability to make it happen.
It’s beautifully done.
The perfect vacation spot, scenery is beautiful and the house has everything you need to enjoy every minute.
Wow! What a stunning home. I love the view and the spces6, but I’m not sure i would want the responsibility of the upkeep or when things, like water, go bad.
I love this house so much! Thank you for an awesome post – I want to take many of these ideas and run with them for our own home 🙂
Beautiful but I can’t even imagine having something like that.
I love all of this, inside and out! What lake is this home on?
