Colorful Cottage in a Casual Style: Get Ready to Fall in Love
Grab a cup of coffee and get ready to be delighted by this colorful cottage by Orrick and Company dressed in casual style. This is a house I could move in to and not change a thing. There’s plenty of windows and unique details with a fresh, uplifting touch,
The living room and kitchen are open to each other, creating a great space to gather. A loft above the kitchen provides more seating area with a view to the room below.
The overhead view from the loft shows a glimpse of the French doors all around. I would LOVE a room like this with trees surrounding the room outside for privacy.
Just beyond the living room and kitchen are a few steps leading to a dining area that enjoys a Dutch door.
You get a better view of the rich, hardwood floors that run throughout this colorful cottage. The home is decorated in a casual style that mixes a bit of modern with traditional.
What do you think of the lime green table with a modern pendant light and dining chairs? It’s a fun eclectic look, and I always like when a home has an element of surprise to it.
A built-in banquette is on the other side of the table and offers views of the property. Linen Roman shades can be lowered for privacy.
A soft, feminine bedroom wears a pale shade of pink and features an upholstered leopard fabric bed.
Outside awaits a cozy spot for conversion and crafting s’mores. Inside and out, this colorful cottage doesn’t disappoint.
Nice pictures- but Not colorful. Only the few accent pieces added some interest. White with dabs of color would be more accurate.
Absolutely lovely.
Love it. Also love that dutch door. I like the surprise of the green table but not those chairs. What a great cottage.
