Decorating with Bold Colors
Not sure what’s going on but lately I’ve been really attracted to bold colors. Maybe it’s because the weather’s warmer, the spring bulbs are blooming their flowery heads off, the sun is shining, and there’s a new found pep in my step. To satiate my craving, I turned to Houzz for inspirational ideas on decorating with bold colors.

Call attention to your fireplace with a bold stroke of color! If you decide you don’t like it, you can always change it. I’m not a huge fan of orange, but I like its use in this living room.

If you’re a little timid about decorating with bold colors inside your home, why not try it outside?
A string of neon bright pillows creates a bright spot in the shade.
Last Fall we painted the outside of our house and I decided to go bold with bright yellow siding, blue and white trim, and doors painted in bright aqua. I’m anxious to finally get the porch floor painted and spruce it up a bit with accessories.
Have you added any bright and bold colors to your home? I’d love to hear about it!
Hi Jennifer! They look great here in the pictures! The brightest color I have done is the aqua (treasure by Americana Decor chalk paint) on a magazine rack. I will have to step out of my comfort zone and try some more bold colors…..some day. Thanks for sharing!!
Such a fun change! Jo
