Light-Filled Kansas City Home
Get ready to smile! Today’s tour features a light-filled Kansas City home by Bria Hammel Interiors that’s decorated in in elegant, traditional style. The house has some great architectural details, too.

Beautiful creamy-white cabinets pair with a custom hood vent and oven range. Have you ever thought a stove is beautiful? This one sure is. A lightly patterned backsplash adds interest without taking away from the beauty of the cabinetry.

Globe pendant lights illuminate the kitchen island with its breakfast bar and pretty rattan bar stools. During the day, ample windows allow plenty of natural light to stream in.

The dining room enjoys a softly striped wallpaper with a statement chandelier. Tan, upholstered chairs add a bit of softness. Note the two table lamps at the far side of the room. They’re the same shape but different colors.

A corner of the living room reveals a large arched window and wall molding – along with a few unexpected pink accents.

The family room is just as pretty as the living room, but a bit more casual with slip-covered furniture.

Who doesn’t love a grand staircase at the entryway to a home? This one is kept clutter-free in order to enjoy the elegance of the curving stairway.

More windows and another statement chandelier grace the master bedroom with its subtle wallpaper and four-poster bed.

Another bedroom enjoys a vintage metal bed dressed in pale pink and blue.

Bathe in sunlight when you enjoy a soak in this free-standing tub under a mullioned window.

Baskets dress a wall in the mudroom that leads to the beautiful grounds of this Kansas City home.

The home’s outdoor spaces are just as pretty and impressive as the interior spaces.
