Rent This Wondrous Cotswold Cottage That Radiates Old World Charm
Let’s take a virtual trip over to the U.K. to discover a wondrous Cotswold cottage by Imperfect Interiors that’s filled with all the charm and tranquility of yesteryear. Not only is it reminiscent of days gone by, but you can rent the Armada Cottage for your next overseas trip.
A floor-to-ceiling floral drape greets you as you cross the threshold into the beamed living room. I wonder if the curtain is there to alleviate a drafty front door. A charming box window creates a cozy nook for playing board games or enjoying a snack.
A close-up view reveals the details of the table and chairs by the box window in the living room.
Checkerboard floor tiles liven up the Cotswold cottage kitchen with Shaker-style cabinets and dark counter tops.
The wall behind the stove is lined with zellige tile, which is the same tile found in yesterday’s bachelorette kitchen. A small window is surrounded by exposed stone.
An antique dining table and chairs occupy a small corner in the kitchen, just in front of a skirted cupboard set into the stone wall. A single wall sconce illuminates the table for evening dining.
A charming under-the-eaves master suite bedroom awaits weary travelers. A king-size bed takes center stage in the upstairs open floor plan. You can see a bit of the tub at the lower right.
A roll top tub and wall mount sink lend vintage charm to one of the bathrooms in the Cotswold cottage. A vintage radiator was left intact. It’d be relaxing and cozy to soak in the tub and gaze out the window.
Another bedroom features a sunny yellow quilt and velvet pillows. A wall mounted side table saves floor space while a sisal rug lends texture underfoot.
The other end of the bedroom reveals the gorgeous wide-plank wood floors and an old pine cupboard.
The Cotswold cottage enjoys a slightly more modern bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. Newer light wood plank flooring was added along with horizontal planked half-walls.
The Armada Cottage enjoys outdoor living spaces that beckon you to enjoy the beauty and fragrance of climbing jasmine.
The graveled courtyard features a cafe table and chairs within its stone walls. Foxglove and geraniums bloom during the summer.
The exterior trim is painted a dark green-brown to complement the old stone work of the charming rental unit.

So darned charming. Gave me great ideas for my little cottage. Thanks for sharing lovely homes and happy holidays!
How perfect!
It’s lovely. I think I’ll pack my suitcase now.
So cute! I’d fit right in here. Love all the stonework…and I feel sure that front door drapery is meant to keep the drafts out. I’d love to see this in the winter…and decorated for Christmas!
Absolutely love everything about this stone cottage. I could move right in!
