Cozy Cabin in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts
If I didn’t live in my Victorian cottage, my next choice might very well be a cozy cabin located in the woods or near the water. Today we’re touring a truly charming, cozy cabin located in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.

The cabin feels quite spacious due to the white vaulted ceilings and expansive views out the many windows. In the dining room, the back side of the living room fireplace creates a unique stone wall.

The L-style kitchen is kept light and bright with a large skylight overhead and multiple windows (that remind me of my trio of kitchen windows) over the sink.

A tall stone fireplace always captures my heart – especially when a fire is burning. The stone work in this cozy cabin adds just the right amount of rusticity to the white walls and ceiling. And look at that view out the deck doors!

The cozy cabin features a screened-in porch where you can enjoy views of the bay off the Atlantic ocean. It’s a great spot for enjoying the outdoors when it’s raining or when bugs are being especially pesky.

A beach style bedroom gives a nod to the coast beyond with sailboat models tucked in an alcove.

I think I would sleep with the door open in order to smell the scent of the sea blowing in from the bay. Incidentally Buzzards Bay got its name from the colonists who spied a large bird on its shores. A bit of history – the first naval engagement of the American Revolution took place in Buzzards Bay.

I love this breezeway area with doors that open on both sides for both views of the woods and a view of the bay looking from the opposite side.

I could certainly enjoy living there, I may not get any sleep, who could sleep with so much beautiful scenery.
Beautiful cabin! Could you have possibly meant ON Buzzards Bay? I live in Buzzards Bay and while we enjoy being on the water, the views this cabin possesses are quite impossible from our little village.
What a beautiful cabin. I like the cozy feel and the thought of the fresh air blowing through the bedroom door…..I could live there no problem >
