Modern Texas Farmhouse in Austin
I love when I find a house that’s just as beautiful (if not more) on the outside as it is on the inside. Today’s modern Texas farmhouse is a prime example of matching the interior to the exterior.

Porches and decks on all levels provide ample opportunity to enjoy the nature of the trees and plantings around the home.

The interior has somewhat of an industrial vibe going on as you’ll see from the windows and railings. A gorgeous wood ceiling adds warmth to the rooms.

This modern Texas farmhouse has an open concept floor plan. You can see the kitchen on the right side of the living room. Beyond the full length window is the deck with outdoor dining area. Since it’s Texas, I’m sure it gets used a lot.

I love the brick wall along the kitchen. It pairs so beautifully with the ceiling.

Windowed walls take full advantage of the views in the breakfast nook.

I love how the desks in the office area look out the windows – and this home has plenty of windows for prime outdoor viewing!

The master bedroom conveniently opens out to a balcony. If that door has a screen, I’d sleep with it open.

Here’s a couple more views of the outside of the house – which reminds me I still need to hang my Edison lights out by the pond.
