Spring Mantel Ideas to Inspire You
The other day while out for my morning run I saw eight robins! Normally they don’t come back until mid-March but it’s been unseasonably warm so I wasn’t surprised to see them. Spring is almost here and I’m getting the house ready for two online spring home tours that I’m participating in. March 9th is the first tour and March 15th is the second one when I’ll reveal my new sitting room. To get in the mood, I’m sharing a round-up of spring mantel ideas for you to enjoy.
Nest of Posies created a stunning spring mantel with three free printables you can download from her blog. They’re so pretty and I adore the gold frame that holds the egg print.
Here’s my Easter mantel from last year. I kept it simple. And I’m keeping it simple again this year.
Here’s another simple spring mantel from The Lilypad Cottage. The beautiful blue hue of the bottles stands out against the simplicity of the white background. So pretty!
You’ll always find a bit of romance at The French Country Cottage. Courtney loves using gorgeous blooms on her mantel, no matter what the season.
How cute is this fun Easter mantel from Eclectically Vintage? I think this would be so fun for a home with small children.
I like decorating with birds, as revealed in one of my spring mantel ideas from a few years ago.
And speaking of birds, this year’s winter mantel could easily be mistaken for a spring mantel. I like using nature in my decor when the snow flies. By the way, I painted my mantel a brighter white and moved it into another room. You’ll see where during my spring home tour on March 15th.
One of my summer mantels from last year could also pass for a spring mantel.
I fell in love with this white fireplace and pretty mantel that I saw over at Houzz. A simple bouquet of flowers paired with a white plate and botanical print – while birdhouses stand at attention below.

Sometimes all you need when considering spring mantel ideas is a simple theme. Here, a grouping of greenery is all that’s needed on a white painted farmhouse mantel.

If you love shabby chic style, you’ll enjoy this vintage mantel with its soft green accents and unique wall clock.
I hope you found decorating inspiration from these spring mantel ideas.
How do you like to decorate your mantel or a shelf for the spring season?
Very inspiring mantles, Jennifer! Looking forward to your reveal.
PS: Just don’t touch that tiled kitchen floor!!!! 🙂
Love all your ideas, everything looks so Spring. I will be looking forward to your reveal.
