Whew! I think all my Christmas decor has now found a place in my home for the holidays and I can start to focus on some fun stuff like these DIY Christmas stencil projects. My friend Jennifer Rizzo designed a collection of beautiful Christmas stencils and I had the honor of trying them out complements of Royal Design…
Today’s post about dining ambiance comes to you from my need to find a new lighting fixture for my new dining space. Remember my sitting room? It’s once again the dining room, and is newly painted and wallpapered. But before I reveal it, I need a new pendant light or chandelier. And let me tell…
When I first started blogging, the Newbie Party at Debbiedoo’s was one of the first I started linking up to. And now, my home is being featured on her blog. For the full tour of my home, hop on over to Debbiedoo’s. This is just a sneak peak at what you’ll see …
All month I’ve been wanting to make some sort of DIY Santa Claus artwork. At first I thought I’d do something with pallets, but never got around to grabbing an old pallet from work. But then I remembered I had this 1980’s print hanging around and decided to transform it into this DIY Santa Claus…
Today we’re touring one of my favorite kitchens. It has country charm and practicality throughout. This truly appealing farmhouse kitchen is located in the U.K. (as are most of my fave kitchens). Crafted by Hill Farm Furniture, Ltd., every nook and cranny of the bespoke kitchen tugs at my heart strings. I would love to…
Over the years of decorating several homes I’ve lived in, I never really thought of myself as having an affinity for farm style. Love it all.
I love the simplicity of it all Jennifer. No fuss and clutter, just beautiful useful pieces and a lovely touch with the white glasses like your grans. Don’t you love it when you find thrifty finds that remind you of a time in your own childhood.
Very fresh looking, Jennifer! Love the simplicity of your table setting. The book page runner is very creative. We are going to our daughter’s for Christmas day also. I still have no idea what we are having Christmas Eve, but it will just be myself, hubby and our son so I’ll keep it easy and simple.
Jennifer, I LOVE your touches of Christmas in your dining room. I need to work on mine today. I just may borrow a few of your ideas. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, Gail

Love the green and white. I have lots of red this year so this gave me the idea to do some white with all of it on the table. I have lots of white so no excuse to do the same old boring thing I always do.

SO pretty! Love the book page runner idea. I’m impressed, you’re ready for Saturday already!
Simple and festive, Jennifer. I love it!
So soft and pretty. I love the simple decor and what a great idea to decorate each plate with a couple of bulbs. The green looks perfect against the neutrals.
It’s all so very pretty…love all of vintage ornaments that you have used.

Linda
